Winding deck beneath the fabric canopies

Shade and Breeze Pavilion

Orange fabric hangs between trees above a low, winding timber deck at Shade and Breeze Pavilion, originally named Bóng Gió. The temporary installation by adrei studio was made for the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2026. Translucent strips overlap at different heights, letting the branches and patches of sky remain visible through and between them.

The deck curves around trunks and islands of grass, splitting into narrow routes before widening again. Its edges provide places to sit close to the ground. Above, ropes hold the fabric without a separate rigid roof frame, while the boards below follow the spaces left between the existing trees.
