Riad of Margrith Nay Suter and Martin Suter
The riad was remodelled and furnished by its owner, a Swiss designer, as a home for herself and her husband. Its rooms gather around planted courtyards.
For the courtyard fountain, she brought green marble from Guatemala, her adopted home. Rough fibre plaster gave way to traditional lime plaster, and heavy colonial furniture and sisal rugs gave way to lighter local interiors and colourful Berber carpets.
